If you manage your own Internet domain names, you may already be familiar with the importance of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC for protecting your domains from phishing attacks and improving the deliverability of your legitimate emails. But what about those other domains you own that don’t actively send email? Even unused domains can be exploited by spammers, who might forge email to appear as though it’s coming from your parked domains, making their phishing attempts more convincing. To prevent this, you can apply SPF, DKIM, and DMARC to your unused domains as well. Implementing these measures ensures that any forged email pretending to be from your domains is rejected.
