Beware of QR Code Scams: Stay Safe with These Tips

QR codes have become an everyday part of our lives, allowing us to quickly access websites and information by scanning a code with our iPhone’s camera. However, this convenience comes with risks. Scanning a QR code without considering its source is akin to clicking on random links in emails or texts, which can be dangerous from a security standpoint.

“Quishing” (QR code phishing) is not widespread yet, but there are already thousands of reported cases each month. To protect yourself from falling victim to a quishing scam, follow these safety tips:
